Plugged this into my 2005 745Li and the lag off the line is basically gone now. Sport mode makes the car feel way lighter than it actually is, which is saying something for a big sedan. Install took maybe 15 minutes with no tools beyond a trim pry.

Installed this on my 745Li and the throttle response difference is immediate — no more lag when I pull out into traffic. The adjustable modes are handy since I can dial it back to Eco for my highway commute and switch to Sport when I want the car to feel alive again. Install took maybe 15 minutes.

Wasn't sure about the install for my 740iL since the E38 isn't the easiest to reach, but the unit fit the factory harness without any adapters needed. Took about 20 minutes total and now the pedal feels noticeably more connected in sport mode, though I do wish the adjustment dial was a bit stiffer t
