Installing this took about ten minutes and the difference in throttle response is immediate. The Eco mode actually makes city driving smoother than I expected.

The throttle lag I hated in stop-and-go traffic is basically gone on my 2018 SL. The plug-and-play install took maybe ten minutes with the provided harness, and the City mode makes the 5.6L feel much more eager off the line without being jerky.

Driving around town feels so much more responsive now—the Eco and Sport modes actually make a noticeable difference in how the pedal reacts. I’ve got the 5.6L V8, and it finally wakes up when I want it to.
